
The Christian Coalition Against Domestic Violence: Faith Voices invites faith leaders, advocates, professionals, survivors, and community members to our Domestic Violence Awareness Conference in October 2026—held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
This conference is designed to equip, educate, and empower faith communities to respond to domestic violence with wisdom, compassion, and accountability while centering survivor safety and healing.
Conference Purpose
Domestic violence continues to impact individuals and families across all communities, including the church. Too often, silence, misunderstanding, or misused theology has caused additional harm. This conference creates space for honest dialogue, learning, and collaboration—rooted in faith and informed by trauma-aware best practices.
What to Expect
Participants can expect:
- Survivor-centered and trauma-informed teaching
- Faith-based perspectives that uphold safety, dignity, and justice
- Practical tools for responding to disclosures of abuse
