Support Christian Coalition Against DV: Faith Voices's Mission

The Christian Coalition Against Domestic Violence brings together faith leaders, advocates, organizations, and community members who are committed to ending domestic violence and creating safe, healing-centered faith communities.

Membership is an opportunity to stand in unity, deepen understanding, and take action rooted in faith, compassion, and justice.

Membership is open to:

• Faith Leaders and Ministry Leaders
• Domestic Violence Advocates
• Churches and Faith-Based Organizations
• Community Leaders 
• Individuals Against Domestic Violence
• Survivors and Allies (participation is always optional and self-directed)

As a member, you will:

• Join a faith-based network committed to survivor safety and empowerment
• Receive access to training, resources, and educational opportunities
• Stay informed on best practices, events, and advocacy efforts from a faith perspective
• Strengthen your ability to respond to domestic violence in faith settings
• Partner with others working toward prevention, awareness, and healing

Members of the Coalition commit to:

• Center survivor safety, choice, and confidentiality
• Reject the misuse of scripture to excuse abuse
• Promote accountability, justice, and compassion
• Support trauma-informed, faith-aligned responses
• Foster churches and communities that are safe and welcoming

Becoming a member is simple:

1. Complete the membership application and email it to nciamrise@gmail.com
2. Review and affirm the Coalition’s values and commitments
3. Choose your level of involvement

There is no requirement to share personal stories or experiences. Participation is flexible and respects individual boundaries.

Domestic violence thrives in isolation—but healing happens in community. By becoming a member, you are helping build a collective faith voice that speaks truth, offers hope, and protects the vulnerable.

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them,
